Caleb Childress, right, and Sarah Graham, left won at the Kentucky State Fair Poultry Show August 14-17. Caleb won the Champion Single Comb Clean Leg class with a New Hampshire rooster. Sarah had Champion and Reserve Modern Game Bantam on Lemon blue hens. She also won the Reserve Champion Feather-leg class.
Best in the state is rather good for these local youths considering that no one else from Edmonson County won “Champion” in anything that went on at the fair.
